Our projects

Members of the board with Esther W. Karanja, director of the school.
Since our organization was founded in 2001, all members have been working for it on a volunteer basis.
The projects in Kenya are developed and discussed with all people involved. It is important for us that people in Kenya are also involved doing their part - whether it is financially or by doing handy work.
Example:
Gatuanyaga - St. Mary Drainage & Irrigation
In 2001, members of the small christian community of Gatuanyaga asked for our help with digging ponds. Their goal was to establish an irrigation network with ponds to store rainwater. The initial goal was to dig 10 ponds. However, in the end 48 ponds - one per piece of land - were created.
All work was carried out by people involved. Our organization covered the costs for material, such as cement, as well as professional work.
