The posho mill of Maria Magdalena Special School

Maria Magdalena Special School was able to purchase a corn mill called posho mill in 2008. In the beginning the mill was provisionally housed in an adjoining room of the nursery.

We financed the relocation to a new building on the campus of Maria Magdalena Special School.

We also funded the conversion of the diesel engines to quieter and more efficient operation with electricity.

All residents of Munyu and the surrounding areas can have their corn milled to flour. The income goes directly to the Special School.

Many schools in the area, especially boarding schools, bring their corn to the posho mill of Maria Magdalena Special School.
